Do yourself a favor..It's a piece of cake to pull the engine and so much easier to work on and clean the engine after honing the bores. While its apart, do it all...not just the rings. That many miles enough to make it smokey, means it's ALL worn out. (I'll bet the crank is fine, though!)Do the head, too. Just have to wait till the stands are free, I guess, or buy another set.
