Blah,
The Ultimate solution if you have too much cash, which because most of us drive E21(hence this forum) is out of the question.
You want power, add a turbocharger. It would cost less then installing an S14 M3 engine, produce more power and be cheaper to maintain. The chassis and drivetrain can handle it, the M10 engine is very robust. It make the ultimate BMW sleeper, nothing better then blowing by an E36 euro spec M3 on a 0.6 mile long straight away. I'm on my 5th year under forced induction and have 9 track days without a major problem. All for a total investment of around $7,000.(not including labour, as I supplied it free) Now that's bang for the buck.

I have a great idea, sell u'r car and buy an M3, simple, in one shot u'll get almost 3 times the power. The best possible upgrade ever, but if u wanna do things the easy way, get a stainless steel exhaust, with a removable CAT, (adds 10% power), get K&N air filter element, larger throttle body, lightened fly wheel, and enquire about a replacement chip, to allow for more air/fuel mix, to inc power!!!

Simple!

I want to increase power to my 318i but i just have no idea how to doing it.I thought in a new exaust system but i´m not sure about it.if anybody have an idea PLEASE HELP ME
