Weird vibration sound when turning left (archive)

early '78 320i, with coil-overs and polyurethane bushings. Also has camberplates. There is a weird rubbing/vibration sound when turning left at any speed but only when pushing the car over 80%. The steering rack was rebuilt but this sound came later. Wheel bearings have been checked, only thing I can think of is the lower balljoint on the strut.
Anyone else ever have this problem?
