Plug that hose, 320 runs in perfect vacuum. EOM (archive)

Got a bargain 320i that doesn't want to idle. Upon starting it cold it idles, but soon the rpm's will drop and then it won't idle. I did notice that there seems to be an unplugged vacuum hose between the manifold and some type of injector(cold start?). What does this plug into? Also, if I spray carb cleaner into this hose the car idles.

Any ideas on where to get a vacuum diagram online?
Or any other ideas?
