I think this part is a the air temp gauge, but I am having trouble finding out. It's has 2 electrical leads to it only, and is located to the front of the cylinder head and to the drivers side. It screws right into the fat slab of metal coming up from below the fuel distributor. That same fat slab of metal also bends slightly above the peice in question and has a hole, about 3/4 - 1' dia, at the top.

Anyway, I need to fix or replace it because one of the leads is broken off.

Any help is appreciated.

Also, I have a question about the electrical "black boxes" that are bolted to the bulkhead, at the rear of the engine compartment. They all look in order, except the one on the far passenger side, one of the leads connects to a yellow wire that runs all the way to the battery, but it is also disconnected, on the battery side. One of the other leads coming out of the box goes to the horn, if that helps at all.

It's like someone went though my car ripping wires out. I have just started wokring on my own car, and I'm finding all this disconnected stuff disconcerting.

Again, any help is appreciated.
