the problem was the (I don't know the exact word, but I'll describe) the cylinder in which you put the key and turn to start the car. I replaced it and after that it did not appear again.
PS: the problem appeared mostly after driving the car for a while; with the engine cold it would work perfectly in most cases.

Your English is fine, Alejandro, far better than my Spanish. You got the point across.

I had strange electrical gremlin in my 528i that was also fixed by replacing the ignition switch. But on my son's car corroded battery terminal was the problem. It would pass enough current to click the relay but not turn the starter motor.
