...if it seems to be just general engine noise, try running Mobil 1 Synthetic. I cut my engine noise in half. Use the 15w-50, Mobil 1 is nice and thick and doesn't seem to make any leaks. I put it in my engine w/ 178,000 plus miles. Hope this helps
