Need to borrow / buy a set of '82 front struts! (archive)

I am in deserate need of a set of front struts for an '82 320. I am attending a BMW day track session on Sat. Sept 9th. I went to replace my front shocks with a new set of Bilsteins and discovered that someone CUT the front struts in order to fit a set of shocks that do NOT belong in the car!!!!!! I'm in the Toronto, Ontario, CANADA area and am willing to travel! I realize the strangeness of the request. If you can help call me @ 416-617-9793.
