I recently aquired my first bmw, an 82 320i.
Good points are, a blast to drive, great gas milage 40 mpg interstate driving. interior great doesn't seem to be burning a drop of oil.
Negatives, rockers rusted pretty bad, as well as the trunk. fan was down to about 2 1/2 blades and the bushings in the mounting bracket for the alternator are shot. Paid, 1000.00 with no regrets, and plan to drive it until it quits and find another. Will be maintaining it myself and seems like something I can work on myself for the most part.

Wondering on what the going price is on an '81 320i. Standard 81 rust for a 320i. Still running well. What have been some of the experiences out there regarding price.
