Itīs actuly from a ī84 520i. The Getrag 240 came with a speedo drive but the hole is closed. There are two possibilities but I donīt want to risk opening the wrong one.

84 models also came with an electronic speedo, so if you open the hole, even if it is the right one, the gear that moves the cable inside will be missing, so you'd have to buy this gear (expensive) and dismantle the whole gearbox to put it inside
