Just bought an 83 320i! Have some susp. queries... (archive)

Hey all! I just picked up a very cherry 320i, and saved a good bit of money from selling my other car. I want to throw some mild suspension upgrades on, and I was wondering if anyone has a Bavarian spring/boge gas shock combo on their E21. I test drove a 320 with hartage springs/bilstien sports, and it handled like a dream, but carries a price tag more than I'm willing to spend. I'm looking to do the above combo, and maybe add a front stress bar. The underside of the car is in excellent shape, and I'm not worried about putting huge sway bars on just yet. I'm just looking for a sportier ride, and a bit of a drop to go with the 14" E30 alloys on the car. Any opinions/thoughts/scoldings about saving my money welcomed, as always! I'll post up some pics as soon as I get the roll complete. Thanks!
