I have a 320i starter, there are two different ones listed in the Bav. Autosport catalog. One for 1600, 2002 and 320i thru 79... The other 320i 80 on and 318 thru 85... Mine has the following numbers on it.

and a sticker from Precision Parts, (a rebuilder) and it has (BOS 311) on it..
