Planning on replacing valve cover gasket this weekend, thought it would be a good time to quiet things down some. Have always tightened until noise stops then reverse 1/2 turn. Is this safe? thanks t.g.


It sounds like you're used to hydraulic lifters in a pushrod Chevy -- you'd better get a proper manual before you try the system on a BMW.
