Keith, the 2.5, and 2.7 are for all intents and purposes, the same motor. If you want to put a 2.7L in it...go for it. If you want to put a 2.5L in...go for it. You will be pleased either way you go.

The 2.7 is a stroked version of a 2.5. IMHO, the 2.5 is a better motor. Go for it. Shouldn't have any problems.

what about a 2.5 liter from a 87 325, Is that the same block as the 2.7 only bored a little? would I be able to use my injection w this off of the 2.3?
