Wheels are an issue. You have no factory other than 13" without spacers. 14 and EURO 15 factory E-30 (84-91 3 series) wheels will work with spacers from H&R.

Alpina 15/7 are direct fit but big money.

Tire rack offers some borbets.

I am about to take delivery of a 78 320i. This will be My first BMW so i am sure to have many questions. I am very american car mechanically inclined as I have a 10 second camaro...

First question..

What are the largest stock BMW wheels and tires I can direct swap on to the car with a minimal amount of spacing problems? For example 93 m3 wheels? yes no I

Second

Do you guys have a favorite mail order catalog for parts both OEM and performance?
