help me ID this steering wheel... (archive)

Hi guys, I'm actually from the '02 board, but I pulled this wheel off a 320i, so maybe you guys can help: (ps, thanks for the is recaros so generously donated by a 320 parts car!)

I just found a nice 3-spoke wheel in a local pick-and-pull..it was on a standard 320i. It looks a lot like the 2002 turbo wheel. On the back of the hub it says: 1.118.8372
The hub cylinder itself is a weird honeycomb-like pattern.
On the back of the bottom spoke, there is a small circular logo and the number 838.
Anyway, I was wondering what this wheel is, and if it will bolt right up to my 02.
