Pioneer CDXM30 - Clicking noise (archive)

I just bought a factory refurbished Pioneer CDXM30 changer for my 92 BMW 325 and installed it. During quiet passages I hear a clicking noise in the background in the speakers.

I complained to the dealer and they sent me another -- which has the same problem.

Do you know, if this is due to a bad installation or it is just a Pioneer problem, or I have had bad luck with 2 defective units. Thanks.
