Pretty easy fix. The brake light switch is located at the top of the brake pedal. To test it, disconnect the two wires, and connect them together. This should turn the brake lights on. If the switch is dead, unscrew it, and screw the new one in. You may need to adjust it slightly. HTH, Al

Hi guys, I just noticed that I have no rear brake lights or backup lights!. The fuses are ok and so do the bulbs. Switches perhaps? I have no idea, Also, if they are, where is the location and can I do this myself? I'm not real mechanically inclined (but not a moron either). I don't know if the two problems are related. Thanks, 83 320is.
