The 83 is no more prone to overheating than any other years. As long as you keep your cooling system in good shape, you shouldn't have a problem. Make sure that the rad, water pump, hoses, and lines, and thermostat are all in good condition.

hi there,
Im going to buy me a bmw 3201 83', so i need to know, is it true that the model has a problem with overheating?....and can that model be installed with a japanese technology such as an intercooler so that it wont overheat?...please please reply to me....and one last thing are there any sites that has body kits for the model such as the front skirting(bumper) spoilers?????....please please help me!!!
