All on it's own the header will do very little. If combined with a nice performance exhaust and K&N air filter or some other free breathing intake 5 to 10 horsepower. If you port the head and change the camshaft too, the previous mods become necessary. When improving the breathing on an engine it all works hand in hand. As a side note. I think the biggest improvement you can make to a 320i is to increase the lowly compression from 8.3 to 9.0 or even 9.5. Plus, more compression adds low end torque too. Not just top end horsepower. Open that checkbook and do it all!
