Tire suggestions..I need new ones (archive)

Hi..My 83 320 needs new tires. I just spent a little time researching yesterday and I am thinking of getting Pirelli P400 70 series. I plan on staying with the 185/70R13 size on the stock rims. I don't want to spend a lot, but I don't want to sacrifice ride either (It has to grip the corners). Also, I want something that will work from reasonable to excellent on wet pavement. Oh, and if their is a tire god-it would last a long time maybe indefinetly. I appreciate your feedback. I've spent hours looking on the net for a 320i site that I could get non-salepeoples advice.
