I've swapped out doors before, and it is no fun doing it by myself. They were very hard to align. I used a small floor jack to support it. I never did get it just right. This was on an '80 a few years ago.

Grandad Bought me an 81 320i. He has a 320 parts car as well. He is repairing the Clutch on this car. This weekend I am driving down to swap out the fenders, drivers side door and hood. i was wondering how involed this was going to be. I have exchanged these parts on several 2002s but never on an E21. Any info regarding this procedure would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
