I cross posted this from the 2002 forum incase it helps your next custom project :)

Karl

I know this car pretty well, local tuner Dave N. built it up from a wide-car 02 project from out east.
It was extremely fast, once entered in a BMWCCA race a few years back (Putnam?) it won overall by a large margin.
The CSL rear quarters grafted on were supplied by Rich Conway, the rear subframe is E24 (w/ M3 diff) located by the sorta semi-tube frame rear.
I don't know it's current state, it's likely been de-tuned for sale. The motor at peak power would be a full-time job to keep together. It was dry sumped & just 2 liters & ran tons of boost. The CR steering box was removed & fitted into a customer's tii, it was too much effort to crank the steering with the huge race rubber.
Still, this car is no match for Dave's March racecar (ex-Teo Fabi/Budweiser) with the ground pounding King V8).

ive been looking and looking for a body kit like that for my 78 320i, can anyone help out?
