There are 2 seals on the tank, one on the fuel gage sender and one under the fuel pump mount. both seals cost approx 5.00 from BMW dealer. There are several hoses with clamps in the same area tighten or replace clamps. fill the fuel tank and see if leaking. This can all be accessed by removing the rear seat cushion and taking off access plate
