Hey all, you may (or may not) have noticed I haven't been around here a lot lately. The reason is that I have a new love in my life. Its an 83 VW GTI. I bought it recently, and couldn't decide which project car to keep. I tossed a coin, and the VW won. Anyway, the 320i is now for sale. Its a black 79 with navy blue interior, with grey "is" Recaros(need covering), and a BMW Motorsport steering wheel(came from E30 M3) It has 13x6" BBS/Mahle basketweaves,BRAND NEW Yokohama Avid T4's, 77 320i vented brakes with PBR Metalmasters, BRAND NEW stock rear brakes, 5 speed trans, Ansa header, new alternator, battery, cables, motor mounts, new clutch, and many more new parts. Also has new window lock strips, and new front and rear BMW emblems. This is avery well maintained car with very minor problems. These include a bad guibo and/or centre bearing( I haven't been under it yet), and it is starting to blow some blue smoke. The body is almost completely rust free. It has some minor rust scale under the drivers feet, and in the drivers rocker panel. It hasen't gotten any worse in the 4 years I've owned it.
