It sound to me like you may have adjusted the valves too tight, I just did mine and used .006 across the the boards and the car is quiet and free revving all the way to redline. It just would seem to me that if you tightened the valves and all of a sudden lost revs that may be where the problem originates. If that is the case you are bound to ruin things in the head.


i got the valves tightened on the 320i and now the car won't rev over 3,800. It had low compression before this is why i got the valves tightened but then we lost rev limit. My import guide thinks its the fuel dis. I am afraid to ask for a new one so we will try another one first. Let me know if you can help out with the project.
