I don't think you'll get a driveable fuel mixture without the accumulator being there to smooth out the pressure surges from the fuel pump, but I'm not sure about this specific model.

If you're buying it for parts, perhaps you have another one from which you could temporarily borrow the accumulator. Otherwise, I'd recommend trying to get one at a junkyard.
