A grinding sound is probably bad but they all make noise. Mine has a lovely buzz.

Yes this is a grinding buzz kind of noise but loud enough to hear it when you stand next to the car. It was the main pump (the big one) next to the fuel pump I changed,. Shall I change the other one too?
