In my 84 318i i have a rattling sound which only is audible at around 3000 RPMs, it is faint when idling and sometimes you can't hear it at all. When ever the car goes to 3000 RPMs or any set of those frequencys the noise occurs, is there anything to check if you have heard of a problem like this before?
