I Have a 1979 320I that needs a windshield replaced. Does anyone have any tips- I'm going to do it myself

Eugene, don't do it yourself. You have so much free time in your life? Buy a new rubber gasket from a dealer or from one of the BMW parts suppliers, and then go to a commercial automobile glass installer. In 1 hour, it will be done and if there are any problems with fit or leak, they will rectify the problems.
