Can anyone give me some info on how I can tell either way?

Ryan

One way is to put a clutch plate on the input spline. Mark the clutch plate and output shaft and rotate the clutch plate in each gear counting the number of rotations of the clutch for each whole turn of the output shaft. This will give you the ratio of each gear to compare it with the close ratio or standard gear sets.

Otherwise, I do not know.

Regards

Dave
