Usually I wouldn't be worried a whole lot about sound, but I've found myself on the freeway quite a bit and those crappy stock speakers just aren't cutting it. I have a nice sony head unit that I want to install in the car, but the blaupunkt tape player I have in there now causes distortion in the speakers when turned up to be heard over freeway noise. I was wondering if people using higher-power aftermarket heads purchased better speakers, and where. I'm starting to think mine are just screwed up, but I would like to run a small watt amp to get crisp sound quality (not interested in a stupid amount of bass.) Anyone know a supplier of good speakers in that screwbally 4 x 6 size?
