I think that I have found a 5 speed close ratio for my 82 323i. The proper output shaft and right shift pattern, but I need to know some numbers. Is there a way to tell what you got from the serial or model number from the tranny?
Can anyone give me some info on how I can tell either way?
Is this a Getrag 245? any close ratio information appreciated. Thanks in advance

There is an overdrive and a sport version of the 245 box. I believe the sport version is the 245/10.
