Had my 83 replaced at glass shop for ~250 bucks. I had to provide the plastic chromed trim insert, however. They will let you know if your gasket needs to be replaced. Mine was fine. Your time is worth considerably more than that especially if you don't have proper tools and are working with a priori knowledge. If you inisist on doing it yourself, Haynes manual outlines steps. Good luck.


I Have a 1979 320I that needs a windshield replaced. Does anyone have any tips- I'm going to do it myself
