Are the press plate and flywheel and release bearing much different?

I was told by a BMW mechanic that the clutch disc was the same 228 mm size, what do you think?

What is the weight difference?

Thanks again,
CW

The major differense is the diamater the 323 has a 228 mm diam. this being larger then the 325 clutch and the better performing. Call BAVARIAN PARTS in NY they have these units in stock heres the # 866-228-7278 also you should change the rear main seal and pilot bearing as well as the imput shaft seal on th tranny since their is no added labor while the tranny is pulled back and these parts are only a few dollars .MIKE
What is the weight difference?
Waht is the mounting difference?
How about clutch parts and best place to buy 323i clutch parts?

As always, thanks for any help in this area,
CW
