I saw your comments above. I do remember the earlier discussion on 11/23 about the rear hub for the 320i, but I have disk brakes not the drum. The torque setting may be the same, but I'd like to check specifically the 323i number.

Thats not the right nut. I am referring to the large one that is centered right under the dust cap of the wheel. If you remove the wheel it is centered on the hub with a cotter pin thru it. I believe that it is a 36mm nut but am not certain. You would remove this nut to get to the bearings etc. If you understand what I mean now, would you mind looking that one up?

I now have all the parts, I just need torque specification and I can install the rear disks.


Is anyone familiar with the torque spec for the rear hub nut on the rear disk brake set-up from a 323i? This is the really large nut that has the cotter pin thru it.

Any help appreciated
