320 sunroof problem.. (archive)

I just repainted my 78 320 and remowed the sunroof seal. I loosend the tracks to lift the roof to put the seal back on.
Now I cant get the roof to retract and it appears the cable is binding. Any good links to figure out how this works.. Any good tricks or tips..
