But then, its probably not average either.

Depends on a lot of things. Does the car have any rare options or alpina/hartge/schnizer parts?

Hey what would a 82 323 be worth? has 80k miles and is in great shape, found the car in someones garage and they want to sell it.

I found a clean (no rust) 1980 323i 110k in CA and paid $2500. It came with a cracked head which could have been fixed for <$1000. The following also needed help, brakes, exhaust, cooling, suspension i.e. struts/springs (H&R's), front end. I also by choice bought 15x7's and tires and did have a rebuilt 2.7l put in due to the head problem. Tha car is now a solid daily driver and probably good for another 100k. My feeling though is that these 323i's in top condition probably would'nt fetch more that about $6000, with a few exceptions......HTH

Doug
