I just recently installed the battery in the trunk and i am debating whether or not to buy a premanufactured box for the battery or to make one myself.
two issues.

1. does the battery box need to have air outlets to allow for breathing? The battery i am using is the optima interstate.

2. I also have the extended fuel tank in the trunk. if by any chance there would be a gas vapor leak what would the possibility of an explosion occuring?

both of these issues are of great concern to me (as they should be) any response to this would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. dont knock my spelling....... I know its teribel. :)
