My key wont turn!! (archive)

I have tried to turn the wheel...and it turns just fine and have rocked the car back and forth. I have even moved the shifting lever to make sure it was in place. I still cannot get the thing to turn. It moves to the first position where the radio comes on and stuff like that....but it is locked and I cant get past the first position...its doesnt feel like its just hard to turn or anything and I havent had any trouble whatsoever before. Someone please help!!
