American V8 in to 320i? (archive)

I just bought an 83 320i from a local dealers auction. I didn't really mean to buy it, but the money was just eating a hole in my pocket, so I bid on it and got it. It has 197 K miles and the transmission slips pretty bad, but the body and interior is in great shape. I figure I could eather pull the transmission and get it rebuilt, or I could put a Ford 302/T-5 in it and have a really fast little car. Anyone done this swap, or know of a web page that talks about it? I will only do this if it is fairly strait forward (no re-modeling the fire wall) and if I can't sell it (I am advertising in the local paper for $800-what I have in it). Also if anyone is interested in it they can have it for $800, I'm located in Eastern North Carolina.
