When I start my car in the morning and start driving, it runs fine for abuot 5 min. Then as the car starts to warm up, it starts bucking and jerking and I lose a significant amout of power. I have to floor the gas pedal to get to school on time. After the car has been running for like 10 min., the bucking gradually stops and the car runs smooth again. I've put several bottles of fuel injection cleaner in the gas tank, and it hasn't seemed to work. Has anyone had similar problems with their car and if so, how did you go about fixing it?Thanks, Kevin
Maybe water in your gas or a clogged fuel filter. If it does it only when decelerating after it has warmed up, I'd suspect the egr valve, or if its an automatic it could even be the torque converter in the transmission. Good luck. Let me know what it turns out to be.
