In my BMW 81 320i the battery indicator light is on.....dimly lit. Is it a simple battery connection problem? When it starts it starts to turn but does not fully turnover. Yet, it actually does start after a couple initial tries. any advice?????

check the negative pole attached to the battery holder... it is often corroded
