I just had my heater motor out and lubed the bearings. the plastic coverings should be tight. I believe there were hooks and tabs on the front and rear of the housing to snap the top on tight. also the blower motor may need moved slitghtly to align the squirrel cages in the housings so they don't rub. If moving the motor won't help one or the other squirrel cages may need to be moved in or out on the shaft

My heat-blower motor is very very loud. A previous posting on this board involved removing the motor and cleaning the windings. I did just that but the motor is still very noisy! However, I noticed that the black plastic coverings are loose, does that mean anything? Do I need a new motor??? Anyone have some advice to offer?????? Thanx in advance for any feedbacks!
