Christie; Maybe some help.
1. Push oil dipsick in firmly--may loose vacuum if loose.
2. Check air flow bellows for cracks--this is the very large black rubber hood going to the throttle body--they crack at the bellows(ripples)on the underside--vacuum loss--remove clamps, hoses and clean and use electrical tape to seal crack until replacement.
3. Check fuel injection relay--lift plastic fusebox cover--remove tallest black plastic relay box--fabricate a jumper wire(2 inch of wire with 2 MALE connectors)--as standing looking at fusebox, plug this wire into the NORTH and WEST connectors where the relay was disconnected from. If the relay is defective, this will work.
4. Check battery cables for tightness on ALL ends. These are all related to symptoms of your problems after hitting the bumps you mentioned, however may occur anytime!
