Go for the 195's on a six inch rim. It somewhat depends on the profile you choose. A 20550 or 60 wont fit correctly while a 195/60 is about right. You will never notice the lack of extra width is you use the 13x6 rim. Get ready for a lower geared final drive though unless you can organise a wider tyre that has a profile to maintain the same overall rolling diameter.
I've got a set of 15x6 rims for E-21 chassis....dead ringers for stock turbines, as they were made specifically for BMW.

Question: When I can afford tires, should I go with 195 or 205 tread width?

Since stock rims are 5.5 with 185 70 13, I caclculate roughly 202 for the proportion of 6 over 5.5. I realize 3mm aint much, but don't want to oversize and deform the tire contact patch.

Any comments would be appreciated.
