Yes that car can flood,it may have leaking injectors causeing the flood situation.Try holding the pedal to the floor,this will add more air to the already to mush fuel.And spin that puppy.You could remove and clean the fouled plugs,spinn the engine with no plugs and throttle closed to blow out excess fuel.If you use this method disable ignition so you don't build a fire.
I just bought an '82 320i auto. The car ran good before I bought it. I shipped it to Seattle and it sits in the shipping parking lot because it won't start. It is full of gas, the plugs are getting spark, the engine turns over good but it won't hardly fire. The plugs were real wet when I took them out. I have not been pumping the pedal but don't know if you can flood this car with fuel injection.
Anyone have a thought?
