Hello There:

I have a 1979 323i which I have extensively restored: All new everthing from fenders to doors to Quarter panels. I rolled the fender lips in the front and the ones in the rear with a machine which I rented from the tire rack. It came out so awesome, and since my car has not yet been painted there was no paint cracking.

I ran 195 50 Perrili p7s and the fronts would rub during hard cornering. I also have a lowered supension with bilsteins sports, Dinan swaybars, and racing dymnamic springs.

I had to wait a long time for the wait list at the tire rack - but it was really worth it. My body guy says it was so good you woukd never really know it was done 0- and it did not take hime very long to do it either.

Hi Joe,
Can you explain me how the Tire rack tool works. Is it electric, hydraulic or pure mechanical. I am in the need of flaring the fenders on my car also. Are prices at the tire Rack that much better? After all you still have to pay the local tire man to mount and balance the tires.
