I didn't get around to putting a new one in this weekend, though. The local auto parts store wanted 90! dollars for the part, so I decided to wait and order the thing from a catalog for half that. I did bleed the brakes, and there was plenty of air in the lines. after purging all this, I have a much firmer pedal, though not as firm as it should be. Next weekend's job! Thanks again all!
