Re: bmw330xi and 325xi (archive)

I just bought a new 325xi, its great. I actually loaded the car fully except the cold weather package. It has cost me about 37 grand after tax. I guess this is the best you could get after putting in leather seats, premium package, Sports package, the harman Cardan sound system and a six disc CD Changer. Put in the cold weather package and you pay and extra 1 grand. If you are paying anything more than this then you are paying more.
I test drove both the 330xi and 325xi and dint find much of a difference. You just end up paying 5 grand extra for 40 extra horses. You also get lumbar support in 330 which is not an option in 325. I would also suggest dont go for the upgraded Harman Cardan, its a waste of money and the sound quality in fact detoriates. You are good with the standard ones.
If you dont mind spending 5 grand more then go for the 330 else 325 is equally good.

hey- i was just curious if any of y'all heard of any great deals on either the 330 or the 325 xi. what is the lowest price you've heard someone getting it for?
... also ... not sure which to get here-> the 330xi or the 325xi ... oooobviously, i want the 330xi cuz it's better, but...
you think it's worth it for a 21 year old chick? this is my first bmw, and first "new" car- so i want to get the best - but i dont want to jump my guns here.
*i'd really like to here people's opinions on this... i'm scared!!*
